While many boat manufacturers hit the brakes on producing new models for 2022, Brad Lemerand, the General Manager for Qwest Pontoons, said they put the pedal to the metal.
We’ve always done things a little different at Qwest, and we like that, he said. We decided to overhaul our entire line up and that’s exactly what we did!
For 2022, we introduced a whole new lineup called the Qwest E-Class. The E-Class models are a combination of our most popular floorplans and boat sizes. They are available in three core trim levels based on several key features that customers wanted. “We listened to our dealers and customers to get input on the things they wanted to see and then included them standard into trim packages called L, LT, or LTZ. The boats are fresh, unique, and simply fun”.
The concept of combining popular features into easy-to-understand trim levels helped in many ways. Easier to sell. Easier to buy. And importantly, it helped in the production of the boat itself because the basic “guts” of the boat always remained the same.
Qwest pontoons are “real world” pontoons with modern floor plans that have all the options to please anyone. “We build our boats so a family could be using it for fishing in the morning, swimming at noon, and taking a pleasure cruise in the evening,” Lemerand said.
